Ian Maksin returns to Pagosa Springs with his magic cello ready to share his soulful original music infused with flavors from the Middle East, West Africa, Mongolia and South America. He will also share some of the most recent additions to his repertoire amassed during his recent travels to Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Mexico and other countries. He will also sing some of his favorite songs in Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Polish, Italian and more.

Portion of the ticket and merch sales from this tour will be directed to benefit For Wellbeing, a humanitarian relief organization in Ukraine helping families and children in areas affected by war.

BREAKING BOUNDARIES both musical and geographical, cellist, composer and multilingual vocalist IAN MAKSIN has created his own unique style by blending elements of different genres and traditional music from around the globe in a new way using his cello as the main unifying force.

ONE-MAN ORCHESTRA: Ian Maksin is breaking geographic boundaries by blending many genres and styles using the cello as the main common denominator. In addition to cello, he used an electronic device called the loop pedal, which allows him to create "loops" or layers by recording and replaying his own playing in real time.
